Brownee is a comprehensive B2B platform designed for companies committed to sustainable energy and global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards. Many organizations struggle to translate vague sustainability goals into actionable strategies. Our task was to design an end-to-end digital ecosystem that assesses a company's current state, suggests high-impact tasks, and tracks real-time progress.
We turned complex global objectives into a clear, gamified management tool where every business decision is reflected in a specialized "Brownee Score," providing stakeholders with absolute transparency regarding their ecological and social impact.
The primary challenge for Brownee was overcoming the "intent-action gap" in corporate sustainability. Companies often have goals but lack the tools to implement them effectively. We designed a dual-layered experience that begins with a deep Initial Assessment, mapping company data against Global Goals.
This transitions into a dynamic web application where abstract recommendations become concrete tasks. By integrating a curated marketplace of verified vendors directly into the task management flow, we removed the friction of execution. This allows decision-makers to not only see what needs to change but also immediately find the right partners to perform the work.
We developed a sophisticated web ecosystem that included:
The project kicked off with a Discovery phase aimed at refining the Unique Value Proposition and deep-diving into user needs. A significant part of our work involved the brand's visual evolution. The client arrived with an existing style that lacked the depth needed for a complex interface. We expanded this identity into a full design system that felt premium and trustworthy while remaining complementary to their original materials.
Our focus was on creating high-fidelity wireframes that prioritized data clarity, ensuring that even the most complex ESG reports were easy to interpret at a glance for any stakeholder.

The project concluded with a complete delivery of production-ready assets and comprehensive documentation in Figma. We conducted a series of dedicated demo sessions for the development team to explain the logic behind the Brownee Score calculations and the dynamic task-to-vendor linking. This ensured that the engineering phase could proceed with zero ambiguity.
The client received a modular, future-proof design that not only serves their current users but also provides a solid foundation for adding new sustainability metrics and vendor categories as the platform scales globally.
The Brownee platform successfully shifted the conversation from "why" to "how" in sustainable energy management. By making performance visible and actionable, we created a tool that directly influences corporate behavior. Results of our design work included:
"Their ability to really understand the problem we are trying to solve. It was clear, that they had done there background research into the problem space which allowed their team and our team with true collaboration versus us just setting requirements and them executing." - Emily Burns, CEO @ Brownee
